Listening to the racket noise outside for several hours, the old man finally had enough. He got up from his worn out chair filled with dust mites and reached for his cane so that he could stand. Walking over to the door while fixing his bifocal eyeglasses, they fell to the ground, causing his eye sight to become blurry. No one was around to help him, he couldn't call for any help, so using his cane for support he crouched down to the floor feeling around for them. After 15 minutes he finally found where they were. Now with a dusty hand, putting back on his eyeglasses he made it to where he was able to see. Limping over to the door from kneeling down on the floor, the old man could not wait to see who it was making all that racket noise outside. While reaching for the doorknob, the phone rang, "aw dang it!"; he shouted. Dropping his head low he paused for a minute and actually remembered that he was waiting for an important call. He looked up with excitement and decided to answer the phone. After learning that it was only his next door neighbor, trying to also see what is that loud racket noise carry on outside.
The old man became aggravated with this nonsense. So after hanging up with his neighbor, he started at the door again trying to open it he forgot that it was locked. But not just one lock, five locks ran down his door for security reasons. His face turned red hot taking him another five minutes just to get to the door and open it.
As soon as he crossed over the threshold of his home and looks out in the front yard of his home, he noticed a bunch of gang members getting ready to start some trouble in the neighborhood. He stepped up to the leader and says, "what seems to be the problem here?". All of the gang members looked at each other and started laughing saying, "yo somebody get grandpa trying to check someone!" The old man stared down at the one who responded with his chin sticking out, and asked him, "hey look here now I am going to ask you nicely to go back to your hood and play over there!" His neighbors started to peek out their windows to see what was going on. "Hey old man ain't nobody messing with you so gon' somewhere alright!" Before you knew it the old man picked up his trusty cane that turned into a gun and pointed it at the loud mouth gang member who always responded. "Now you got until the count of three to get out of here before I choose for you", all of the guys turned around and started running saying, "this guy is crazy, let's get the hell out of here!" Some fell down and tripped because their pants were sagging too low. The old man laughed in abundance because he pulled the trigger and a balloon came out. But seconds later, he fell down not realizing that he needed his cane to stand. And all his neighbors laughed at him. The old man got up and went back inside to the cool air blowing from his air conditioner, sitting down in his chair once again looking up to the ceiling thinking to himself, "man I'm hungry after all that".
